Kastle got a little drum sister. I love it. :snax:
I love the idea, but I draw the line at 3.5mm jacks. Can't do those tiny things and every time I try, I hate fiddling with them

"The space time wash," said Ford.
Arthur nodded, and then cleared his throat.
"Are we talking about," he asked cautiously, "some sort of Vogon laundromat, or what are we talking about?"
"Eddies," said Ford, "in the space-time continuum."
"Ah," nodded Arthur, "is he. Is he."

So... pretty... :barf: :barf: :barf:
Yes, begs for a custom refinish/etch if it’s a keeper. Demo sounds promising, so the good feature set may not have gone sideways like on the Super Pulsar (which sounds flat in all the demos I’ve heard). So I may hit that on sale.

Seems like I have to read "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" in English. Things like these get lost in the German translation. :thumb:

There’s so much word play in those books. I don’t envy translators that have to try and translate that. I can’t imagine trying to translate that

Yeah that is a very difficult one to translate. It'll always lose something, which is of course true of any translation but particularly when it relies so heavily on silly wordplay.

That EHX seems interesting. LOOKS terrible.

If it sounds like the old clone theory I may be interested. I need another chorus/vibrato pedal

Disappointed by the Boss Tone Bender. The market doesn't need another god damn Tone Bender, voltage switch or not. Also I hate when they deviate from their standard font and knobs. I like the uniformity! CONFORM TO DESIGN STANDARDS

I think it's nice to see a Tone Bender pedal that was designed together with the original company. I also don't like the looks too much, but the overall idea is great.

I have a few Tone Benders, but the Boss one is definitely cool.

I'm super tempted by the EHX Eddy. I've been wanting a vibrato/chorus pedal for a long while now. Wonder if it can get into a Julia/Sea Machine/Aqueduct territory. The thing is only $99!

BOSS and Sola Sound Unite to Reimagine the Iconic Tone Bender MK II

BOSS and Sola Sound have come together to introduce the TB-2W Tone Bender, an authentic sonic recreation of the iconic Tone Bender MK II fuzz pedal used by some of the greatest guitarists of all time. Heard on legions of classic tracks from the 1960s through today, the Tone Bender’s bold, rich voice and smooth sustain are forever embedded in the annals of rock and pop music history.

Using a “masterpiece” Tone Bender MK II (serial number 500) from Sola Sound’s archive as a benchmark reference, BOSS engineers have fully realized the pedal’s magical sound and expressive dynamic response through detailed Waza craftsmanship. Available in a limited production run, each TB-2W features rare germanium transistors carefully tested for optimum tone, a three-way voltage selector, selectable true/buffered bypass operation, and a refined circuit design for ultra-consistent performance from pedal to pedal.

Standard Features

- Authentic sonic recreation of the legendary Tone Bender MK II fuzz from the 1960s
- Three-way voltage selector for shaping the overall tone and response
- Selectable true bypass or buffered bypass operation
- Limited production run due to component availability
- Available in Q2 2021—more details to come

These updates work with OT1 hardware, or is that version no longer supported? (think earlier updates did?) :snax:

The looks of the TB-2W are even worse than the EHX Eddy, and that's hard! Just, awful, it looks like a mockup.

According to Elektron, yes, they're both the same other than the layout and colors anyway :idk:
It’s the Octatrack anniversary party! And this tasty OS Upgrade is the birthday cake. And boy are we delighted to hand a slice of awesome firmware out to everyone - MKI and MKII users - you’re all invited!
And suddenly, MKI Octatracks on Reverb are $1K and not $600 anymore
