A lot of the Jason Pierce stuff is kind of nascent Spiritualised material (I am sure he doesn't see it that way) and benefits from the augmented instrumentation of that band in a way that's pretty antithetical to the ethos of SM3.

Well your taste is fucking terrible. See, there's a word called discernment. You can tell what art is better than others. People who can discern how amazing and important this band is, I can trust their opinion. At first they don't seem remarkable, but you slowly realise. All your favourite genres wouldn't even be around without them. Have some respect.
