There'd better be some hot NYC-style noize made with this pedal...
Great stuff jrmy!Just got back from being out of the city and found the Caracol on my desk at work. Should be able to get into some mischief here shortly! Any of you other NY cats want to get together drop me a PM.
great, the nyc empire has 'till the 30th with the caracol, so i assume you guys will arrange the hand to hand exchange swap / secret meeting, i'll be sending the next person address early next week.
Did my run with the Caracol last night, and I gotta say - this thing is fascinating! Clips forthcoming. Thanks again Adam! Hitting the post office today.
It's in Richmond, but the damned post office. They don't go to my door because my box is on the street and they don't leave a notice. Tracking said it was at the post office, I go before work and they say it's out again for redelivery. Then they tell me to go back tomorrow and they close early. I'm working while they are open. I won't get it 'til Monday. GRRR

[soundcloud]http://soundcloud.com/kosta_stratigos/copilot-fx-caracol-demo[/soundcloud] Hey all. Just posted my Caracol demo. This thing is a bottomless pit of awesome!
For the demo I recorded a MIDI track of some chord changes and played them on a Yamaha TX 801 FM synth. The audio from the synth is used in the carrier input on the Caracol to frequency modulate the guitar. I do my best to play along with the chords and see what happens! I change the voice on the synth and the Caracol pedal settings throughout. I also recorded a track of the clean audio out from the synth so that you can hear the modulation source. The synth is panned more to the left and the guitar more to the right. There are sections of open chords and single notes being played on the guitar to demonstrate the different sounds.
If nothing else, just listen to the last quiet minute or so. That stuff blows my mind!
