Don't tell me how to live my life. I'll be afraid as long as I prefer. Good day.

Watch out Keith Rowe!!!
I don't appreciate you making fun of me
Why not? Your original post was pretty pompous, IMO.

Just a suggestion, but if you want to have fun hanging out on ILF, I suggest you work on two things: 1) a thicker skin, and 2) a bigger sense of humor. Both of those things go a long way around here. :hello:
I guarantee I'm funnier than anyone on this board.
I'm inclined to agree.

Oof. I actually saw Deafheaven at some point, and the whole band just looked bored the whole show, except the singer who kept jumping around pointing his fingers at his own head like they were a gun. It was single-handedly the most embarassing performance I've ever witnessed. I've never heard them recorded, but I remember being surprised to hear people calling them "black metal". I would've said embarassing nu-metal revival, based on the show.
Former Bands: Lazy Gaga, Kadis-kot, Pyramids, In First Person, the Holy Fucking Spirit, Take Down Your Art, A Petal Fallen

People who are against Deafheaven are like the people who were against 'white people' doing Chuck Berry or 'black people's music'. The black people got their recognition.

I agree. I don't think this thread has turned out the way Woolworm expected, but it sure is entertaining. :snax:

Bet your the type of dork that even if I had your number of, you'd still go through all of it to find something you think you can attack me on.

They are post-skramz alt rock with vocals that has black metal / skramz hybrid.

Anyway, the point is, so many fucking dorks on this site were making fun of their combo of genres and their dress sense. How fucking sad and pathetic. Like dressing like a weirdo satanist goth isn't even more embarrassing and sad than dressing like a normal person. Falling for a bunch of dorks elitist nerds who are like "iz not real black metal duuuuuuh". Fucking nerds.

Atleast thegearpage isn't full of fucking dorks like ILF.

noooo comeon stay you're funny. and trying to find a forum dedicated to musical gear without dorks is impossible you know thats true. TGP is just as much dorks as ILF but they are just more simpsons-comic-book-guy about it

will you stay if i say i think deafheaven are ok? havent heard anything after sunbather but that album was kinda cool when it came out, tho i was in high school then so take that how you want. i just understand less and less what's post rock and shoegaze about them.

All black metal, however, is extremely dorky
