is this about the artwork or because it has two boosters in it?

While it’s not anything I would ever use given those extra controls, the art in itself is an abomination.....

Not top jacks, but the Mr Wire Pumpkin Butter was an IC Muff with one knob.

Muffs are what really grabbed me and got me into fuzz to begin with, I'd like to start exploring Fuzz Faces a little bit, I think there's a place on any board for both.

This is what I always go back to. I have an old IC that’s perpetually my favourite. I sold my Musket for the exact same reason, too many controls that I didn’t use. I bought an Eye See Pi used kind of randomly for really cheap - at the time I was playing in a band and hoped to replace the original for shows etc, now I just mess around with them and they’re both great. I had the W&C Tall Font Russian which I wish I had not flipped but now I kind of want a real Russian muff as opposed to a clone. Black or green.... when the time comes I’ll know what will be “the one” when it pops up used....

I’m looking at something like the Wren and Cuff Garbage Face and like whoa, no no no (although I hope it makes someone happy just won’t be me)
Working on some muff projects currently, for what it's worth :snax:

Is this similar to any Muff version in particular?

If I had to choose a favorite Muff circuit, it would be a toss up between the Civil War, Ibanez OD850, and Op Amp. The Wren and Cuff White Elk has intrigued me for some time, and I'm also curious about their BM-20 Ultra.

Indeed! OG parts matching Russian versions, and some less nug sniffery ones as well.

Just bumping this because I’m drinking wine and poking around at reverb while my wife drinks wine and watches the Oprah/Meghan/Harry interview and I’m one glass away from impulse buying a green Russian.

I hope I don’t! I don’t really have any spare money. But what this interview has taught me is that I should sell some effects I don’t use and get what I really want (like Meghan leaving the royal family to get what she really wants: not being surrounded by racist snooty goons).
