*confirmed* If you're in the US and want to avoid PP's conversion fees at Plugin Boutique, 'BF2020' is working at checkout on AD's home site.

Just got confirmation from Eventide that they'll be running a sales event from Cyber Monday until January 4th.

-$1,300 off Anthology here I come?

For anyone searching for weird effects, Melda's sale wraps up tomorrow. I had glanced at their stuff previously and didn't really like the UI. Today, I finally downloaded a demo and was blown away by the sounds and features. It turns out their offerings are much more user-friendly than expected.

I grabbed the Creative Suite at a hefty discount.

Creative Suite has 35 plugins (+future plugins that could be added later). It includes their Turbo Delay with an insane 40 algos in a single plugin. It's up their with Valhalla Delay & Reflex Pro-X for world's greatest delay platform. https://www.meldaproduction.com/MTurboDelay

Their Granular processor is only $30 right now, and honestly I'm shocked that it's regularly $60. It's one of the most extreme tone manglers I've found. https://www.meldaproduction.com/MGranularMB

So far I'm just cycling through starter presets to hear the more extreme and exotic possibilities. With the MGranularMB, you can also get polished ambient sounds (ala Cooper FX Outward) by dialing back the factory presets to 25% wet.

On a more modest budget, their 6-band delay is currently $30. https://www.meldaproduction.com/MDelayMB

There's so much in the suite, that I likely won't get to the ring modulator, tremolo, or some of the reverbs for a few days. All in all, it's a really exciting bundle.

Wavesfactory dropped a Copicat emulator recently, and I think it's the vintage delay plugin you can buy. I've got it ranked ahead of both my Echorec emulators, Satin, the J37, and all the Space Echoes I've tried. Today's the last day for discounted buys for a while.

I like to run it behind multi-tap digital algos. It covers up some of the sheen and polish, adding character and more mass.

Right now I'm going SEM (Arturia) > MTurbo > Echo Cat > MTurbo and it's one of the best delay chains I've ever heard. You could really do anything in the ambient/psych/experimental catalog from the 1960s to 2020 with the Echo Cat adding flavor and nuance.
