So tiny. So small. So light. You can carry it around the house super easily, works with rechargeable batteries or on 9V.
And it sounds dope, the bass response is relatively solid for such a small amp.
You should get one or two. Do it.
Have I told you how rad the tiny Blackstar fly 3 is?

Re: Have I told you how rad the tiny Blackstar fly 3 is?
The Fly 3 has absolutely no polarity protection built inside. So if you try to use a power supply that's not the original one by Blackstar you will almost certainly kill your unit ... on the fly! That happened twice in the music shop that I used to work in (closed since 2018) and we had to pay for the repairs. So "thanks" to Blackstar for leaving away the polarity protection and maybe saving half a cent per unit in the production. Apart from that it's a really nice sounding amp.

Also it needs 6 volt DC and it doesn't step down 9V, unless that's going via the battery pack. Which is enormously stupid. But their power supply is cheap and pretty ok so... whatever.Pepe wrote:The Fly 3 has absolutely no polarity protection built inside.
