Mother tongue could be interesting because formant filters are cool but don't loooove the price. I accept it probably took them a bunch of work and they aren't massively overcharging it just prices it way beyond where I might be interested.

I was thinking that too; there should definitely be an expression or CV input on that pedal

I would buy it in a wah box. But the more I think about it, the more I'm totally not into an envelope thing. When I could instead have a foot controlled sweep, which I never DON'T want with this kind of filtery effect.

yeah, I was a bit surprised how surprised he was that they sold out so quickly,
buton the on the other hand, I guess I overestimated chase bliss size
if some of his pedals barely sold that amount over their lifetime

isn't his decision to fuck limited editions and abstain from social media more of a reaction
to a bunch of flippers/pedal collecters playing the martyr about their investment devaluating?

well, too bad, maybe only buy pedals you might wanna play?
It's not like it was priced higher than regular CB?
A regular Fuzz Factory is not that much cheaper?
And even if maybe there wasn't enough demos of the BlissFactory before purchase time,
both the fuzz factory and the CB-way of ramping & presets have been around long enough
to give you a pretty good idea of what you might get?
Pretty good value in comparison to both companies other offerings, even without the added filter...no?

And if scarcity is so important... even if they make 2k or 3k more...
do you know how many millions of pedal owners must be on this planet?

ALso, I don't remember EQD catching flak when they made more Life pedals. twice IIRC.


So IMHO, yeah, things went a bit unfortunate,
but the solution is quite fair?
The original color remains limited & if you wanna give back your pedal
because... oh no, more people might own the same pedal in a different colour, your stock speculation did not come to full fruition,
you get all your investment back.


TL;DR

yes I'm surprised how surprised they were by selling out quick
I'm just as surprised if not a bit shocked by some of the reactions to a possibility of more BlissFactories
so I can understand the decision to stay away from social media (always a good idea anyway )
after all this wreckage, I guess the solution in place is the fairest to all involved?

The CBA X Cooper Gen Loss was still up for sale hours after the initial release. I don't know how long it finally took to sell out, and it was within the day, but it certainly wasn't in minutes.
