Anyone have any experience with the Ibanez AP-7? I've heard one demo of it so far, and it sounds pretty good. I might consider getting this along with the ADA Final Phase RI, as the FP isn't really the most subtle of phasers and I'd like to have one for Small Stone-ish passages and another for the dual LFO freakout moments.
So, should I buy? I mean, it's only like 60 bucks, no real loss.

Personally I'd go for an Ibanez PM-7 Phase Modulator. It's way more versatile and can do subtle to crazy phase tones. 3 wave forms, 3 modes, and four knobs.

I was looking at it, but is it analog? And it's amazing for unorthodox phasing but
about the standard phase tones from it.
I might find a place in PA to test them in, they're both tied up for the title of my next phaser

It does standard phasing fine. I could get a great smashing pumpkins phaser with a big muff. If I ever need a phaser again I'm buying another one.
I have no idea if its analog, I wasn't really concerned. The buffer is fuzz friendly and it sounds amazing. I can upload my demo sunday night onceI have my laptop with me.

The PM-7 is analog, and can do very nice normal phase sounds. It's phase circuit (in the "1" mode and triangle wave) is similar to a Small Stone. Not a clone or anything, but similar components.
... and I just put one on eBay. Tehe.

Necrobump because I found some samples of the AP7 that actually sound pretty good, really thinking of picking this over hunting down a USA Small Stone
