The original is a mediocre saccharine cliche. Finally got the woooaargghh it needed.

The original is pretty great. Soft Cell version is... ok and pretty cool but not amazing. This is, pretty solid?

Sorry, was referring to the Soft Cell cover. The original Ed Cobb/Gloria Jones original is unimpeachable.
Intent summarized: Sepultura cover > Soft Cell cover.

I've heard too many covers of that song... I would be interested in MctallicA or Nickel Back covering Sex Dwarf.... otherwise

I’m not a Neil Young fan but who knows, it may be a Leonard Cohen thing where it’s better to hear others do his songs;

hahaha I love Neil Young and hate that song. Cover is a lot better.
These are all cool thanks! U2 covering Bjork. Never would have imagined. Gets much better when it starts sounding fucked up in the chorus.

In case I’m not picking up on the joke, not U2. Twilight Singers was Greg Dulli’s vehicle during the Afghan Whig”s long hiatus. He’s had some gems with both groups.

Ah I didn't realise Twilight singers was Dulli. I like Afghan Whigs and the album he did with Mark Lanegan a lot. That cover just really has U2 vibes for me. Not in a bad way. Just kinda sounds like them, mid tempo rock with the high clean guitar melody. And some of the way he sings too though obviously it doesn't actually sound like bono
