Hello guys,
I remember being interested in the Coppersound stutter pedal based on a telegraph key, and I liked the demo for the company's new telegraph-keyed octaver. It looks to me like the key allows faster switching than the familiar momentary switch.
This prompted me to check out the availability of telegraph keys on eBay, and, sure enough, they're pretty common.
Anyone else using them for pedals, and, if so, what for? I'm particularly interested in momentary fuzz applications but would like to hear what everyone else has come up with.
Best, NP.

It's crazy to me that this was posted one minute after your post:

I have not yet utilized such instruments, so I can't elaborate further.

Re: Telegraph keys
For anybody following this thread wondering about possibilities...
I bought a Soviet telegraph key on eBay because of its substantial metal casing. Cost me about $20. It was one of those cases where I need the item in my hand before I can figure how I might apply it.
Turns out the key normally plugs into a circuit that's either standalone or built into a tx. It's as if you'd just bought a footswitch in a separate box.
I'm going to have to build a little pass-through box with 1/8 jacks into which I can plug the key. Circuit will be dead simple and I'll post it here and on DIY effects (it's so basic that there's almost no need but I figure anyone reading this far might appreciate.
