Oh shit, I have a large 15 year old cat who loves some dreamies. We have them here in Sweden too, excellent treats

Alright. I haven't posted a lot lately, but I think it should be fairly easy to discern what kinda stuff I like without much stalking. My boards are the same as ever, save that I now have a Great Destroyer that I'm planning to get rehoused together with the She Fuzz. Have a Pest Tattern incoming, but nothing else planned.

Anyway, maybe something to run after or before the board? Or something that I can switch in/out with one of my pedals to turn my board into something completely different? Or just whatever you think that I'd like or should like or that I think I would hate but you know that I would actually like? I am in your hands, Santana.

I eat most things, as long as they have a face.

Size L.

No pets.

I like your music! Am able to play most normal formats (CDs, vinyl, cassettes, digital).

Happy stalking! :!!!:

I, also, have e=been a ghost for 6 months.

I put out my latest release, Delusions of Flanger, right before Covid hit. Once Covid came, my company made 5 million PPE face shields and the foam world has been bonkers ever since. My wife now works from home, which means that she stays up later, which means it cuts heavily into my music time.

Over the last week or so I have been picking it up again. I am not very privy to what the "new thing is" for gear. My latest acquisitions are:Microfreak, part garden, snark tuner, Topanga, Rusty Box. One thing that is certain, I am an absolute sucker for unique/ rare/ one off finishes

Big old 2020 update:

I don't eat animals (including gelatin)

I read "the classics", "the non-fiction" and "the science fiction/fantasy" pretty voraciously, but I rarely read anything new so if it's new and good I almost certainly haven't read it.

Can play anything in any format save 8 track, more or less (don't have a functioning cassette player at the moment).

Because I'm a metal fan:
Image

I like skulls and tattoos and the colour black.

Also I grew up in the frigid wastelands north of the wall so I like all things cold and all things ocean.

Useful band/gear info because I rarely post about gear or bands I'm in:
NSFW: show
Current bass board for band #1 is Bespoke Big Muff>>DD500>D0D Death Metal>Meatbox. Lots of low end. Lots of fuzz. Lots of amplifer worship. This is the "psychedelic black metal" band that I'm in with coldbrightsunlight and goroth. CBS says I should ask for a book on the basics of playing the bass, which is harsh, but fair as I am the worst bassist in the band.

You can't listen to much currently because we are bashing out an EP and I am rubbish at getting things done so there is some bass that needs bassing. Hopefully you can listen to some of it soon.

Current bass board for band #2 is a Mtl. Asm. Positve>Salt Box>Boss PS-2. This is the Earth-core doom country/quiet Neurosis band. I write none of the riffs. I show up, I drink cider, and I do the low end pondering. It's pretty lit. I will try to find some recordings but this is very low key get the mates together and drink a lot so it's not really a "proper band", espesh not during COVID since going to the rehearsal space is out of the question.

Current Synth board for band #3 the psychy-bleepy duo is O-Coast>Echo>Mad Doctor Stutter (via the kniv) in channel 1 of the mixer, Models: Samples into the other. Basically I say "Echo" because I mostly abuse the kniv and the DD for dub style repeats/endless decay.
You can listen to one bit here:
https://fleshcouch.bandcamp.com/releases

We have a full length wrapped up but waiting on artwork so, uh, don't have more to share at the moment. Soz.

Solo stuff is... pretty much all samples & computer music. I have an uncomfortable relationship with Tim Hecker where I like his stuff, rarely listen to him, and people compare my output to his (but obviously he is much better at it than I). Maybe it's because we're both from the north east of North America. Maybe it's a nice way of saying "why listen to your own stuff when Tim Hecker exists".
That lives here:

Post some relevant gear info, like what you've got, what you're considering getting and general stuff you like (what sort of effect or brand or whatever).
You can get my setup from stalking. I don't want to make it too easy ;)
I'll probably post some updated setup pics in the near future.

Allergies/dietary restrictions and likes/dislikes for consumption!
I'm literally a human trashcan. I eat everything. I don't think there is anything I don't like. Except maybe seafood. But that is anyway always a bad idea to send in a package

T-shirt size!
I'm either a large medium or a small large, depends on the shirt.

You got pets? We love pets!
Nope, no pets. But a girlfriend who likes chocolate more than anything else, so if you wanna get me some bonus points you could include something delicious for her :snax:

What music are you into and what format? Vinyl? Cassette? Minidisc?
I'm currently using amazon music (the paid version) but not 100% happy with it. Can play CDs.

Other hobbies you're into!
Well music and electronics pretty much sums it up. :idk:
I enjoy some light reading from time to time, but pretty much only biographical or scientific books, no novels or fantasy, etc. I just finished "Endurance" from Scott Kelly about his year in space, to give you an idea for example.

I like reverbs/delays/glitchers also very fond of anything with a black on black finish. Not a fan of compression.

Allergies/dietary restrictions and likes/dislikes for consumption!
None, big fan of spicy and sweet things

T-shirt size!
Size L

You got pets? We love pets!
I have a pup, she is spoiled but only because she is the thing I love most in life.

What music are you into and what format? Vinyl? Cassette? Minidisc?
I get down on a lot of stuff, mostly heavy, noisy, and electronic stuff lately. Big fan of records and tapes not so much on CD's or downloads as I don't really have a device really available to play those. Yeah, I know.

Other hobbies you're into!
Music and doing shit with my dog are basically the only hobbies that I have other than watching MMA on the weekends but I don't really consider watching stuff a hobby. IDK, I guess I'm a pretty boring dude.

I do post most of the records and pedals on my IG, which I think I follow a lot of you on. Started that just to catalog when I have/had.

-Post some relevant gear info, like what you've got, what you're considering getting and general stuff you like (what sort of effect or brand or whatever).

I’ll post picks in the relevant threads. Basically, I have no idea where to go next with my gear. Every day I think about going in a different direction musically. Going modular sounds fun, not really for synthesizer music but for the weird physical interfaces you can have using modular. There’s a Uher 1/4” reel-to-reel I’m getting on order, that will hopefully arrive one day. I also think I have too many delays/reverbs, and I always want different flavors of fuzz. Things with flipswitches, rocker switches, and latching buttons make me happy.

-Allergies/dietary restrictions and likes/dislikes for consumption!

No dietary restrictions, just don’t send me booze or anything that looks even remotely like drugs. I always crave chocolate. Anything that’s a regional candy would be delightful. I hate black licorice, but I know it’s a popular candy in some parts of the world. So, if it’s an important flavor where you’re from, I’d love to try it.

-T-shirt size!

Whenever I buy t-shirts, regardless of brand, medium always fits perfectly. My clothing sizes are very average overall, with the exception of my head. I have a large head and if I remember right my hat size is 7&1/4.

-You got pets? We love pets!

I have a cat named Simon. He hates treats, catnip, and human food, but he loves stringy things and small toy mice. The only “treat” he accepts are fry bags from Burger King.

-What music are you into and what format? Vinyl? Cassette? Minidisc?

I’ve been on a techno kick forever, and my main way of listening to music is spotify. However, Spotify keeps showing me techno and post-punk, when I really enjoy a wide variety of music. Even though I keep trying to get Spotify to recommend me different genres, I keep getting more of the same. So, I’m getting a little sick of techno and post punk.

No genre is off limits, but if lyrics are important to enjoying the music it’s probably not a good pick for me. When I listen to music the lyrics don’t really register. When I write songs I usually write a single verse/chorus and repeat them the entire song. So, anything that you think is cool and new would probably be cool with me, and if you have any tunes I’d love to hear them. :)

(downloads really are preferred, but I can play records, CDs, and cassettes.)

-Other hobbies you're into!

My other hobbies are film photography and retro video games. I’ve got a 35mm Pentax K1000 and a bunch of Polaroid cameras. My retro videogame thing has gotten a little out of hand. Between my handhelds and consoles, I have 16 different systems. I do also like to read a good, short, horror story every now and again. For videogames and tv/movies if there’s something you think is cool and it’s something that was specific to your part of the world, it’s probably something I’d be interested in. Basically, I’m always looking for something new and unusual when it comes to movies/videogames/tv/literature; the weirder it is the better.

I mostly like VCAs and euroracks of modules and lofi soundcloud rap. That's why my avatar is a velociraptor. Because I like rap, and I time stretch stuff so it's got lower velocity. But I'm mostly here for the VCAs. And banana plugs. Their smaller size has a better crystal lettuce ratio than quarter inch plugs, which suck.
