I mean really holy shit

As I go on my 3rd go around in playing music again I have really been asking myself what I could be creating as instead of what I toy I am lusting over. I should get to rip into my MBD2 tonight which should be :!!!:

However as I have been doing the last few months and watching gear demos instead of music theory lessons, one of my favorite pedal demo bass channels Zack Rizer (check him out, rad channel / player especially for bass oriented pedal demos) dropped this video.

My first reaction is this thing is insanely cool, but is it almost 800.00 cool? I know a lot of members here own the mood and various other chase bliss stuff so it seems legit, I am just curious to know what your thoughts are.

I own this, along with most of CBA's other stuff (Preamp MKII, Warped Vinyl Hifi, Warped Vinyl MK2, Generation Loss, Tonal Recall, Thermae, Blooper, Mood, Dark World currently on board).

I really like it, but Idk if it's worth it for everyone.
It sounds fantastic - but it is enhanced by the sum of its parts rather than one particular aspect standing out.

I really like the basic pre-amp settings + the light drive settings, but that's nothing too out of the ordinary. The fuzzes are good - I prefer the gated fuzz - but again nothing so unique or special that would make me buy it if it were sold individually. As an entire package, there's something special happening; it's a boost+EQ+OD+fuzz, and while none of them standout besides the Benson preamp part, I think having it all in one enclosure is very powerful.

It gets better that you can see the settings immediately, which is one of my big gripes with CBA's presets and why I rarely use them on their small boxes. The sliders are good and the whole thing feels quality. My main concern is dust getting into the gaps, so I cover it with a piece of paper when I'm not using it.

Also a huge chase bliss fan boi but I don't have this. I don't really care for brothers or the ayahuasca, if I'm being honest. That has kinda made me second guess anything cba does involving gain/fuzz whatever. I love all the delays, reverbs, modulation pedals they have done but yeah... :idk: I admittedly haven't looked to much into it because of that reason and also because of the price tag. That all being said the demo you posted does sound pretty good!
