Catch 22, i've seen far too many times by accident (i was a ska kid for years, so?)

uhmmmm

Trivium <--- worst band ever of all time.

Rob Halford singing for Sabbath :picard:

there was plenty more i'm sure. so many bands i've seen over the year that make me want to die/throw up.

Guns N Roses - overblown AOR piano ballad stage
De La Soul - last show of a world tour and admitted onstage that they couldn't be bothered

I've enjoyed all the other bands I've seen. Even Poison.

titus andronicus - I waited outside for them to finish because that was better than listening to them.
caribou - boring show, left early.
the fiery furnaces - boring show, left early.

Queensryche, sound guy ruined half the show.

Jack Johnson,I was insanely bored the entire time. The only saving grace for the show was the staff trying to get women to flash them.

Too many local bands too count.

I saw Queensryche early on, when they were essentially an Iron Maiden tribute band, and they were really good (as far as Iron maiden tribute bands go). Saw them later when they had morphed a bit, made a bit of dough, and they were still good. Saw them later when they were so far up themselves it was embarrassing. That and the whole Milli Vannilli trousers thing.

I saw She Wants Revenge after the first record blew up. I wasn't really into them at the time, but went along because a bunch of my friends were going. Don't get me wrong, I dig SWR recorded- especially from the second album on. The two new-ish EPs are banging. But at the time, the first record had just come out, so that's what they were doing. The recorded versions allowed for some differences in production, drum tones, synths, etc... live it was just a standard "rock" setup; drums, bass, vocals, guitar. Every song with the same, monotonous vocal style... and they all just basically stood there. I was bored by the second song. By the middle of the set I wanted out. Too bad, I didn't drive...

Elf Power were dull
the Get Up Kids/Koufax/the Anniversary=meh...
a band called Come that opened for The Breeders and Nirvana
Quixotic
and as sad as it makes me to say this,Bob Dylan, which wasn't his or his band's fault. The sound guy should've been severely beaten.

Wow, that one surprised me. They were awesome when I saw them at Lollapalooza '96.

Soundgarden sucked some seriously stinky balls live. Kim just stood there and didn't even look at the crowd, and Cornell couldn't hit ANY of his high notes, and just sounded like crap.

Aerosmith was fucking AWFUL at the '01 River Rave in Foxborough.

Stabbing Westward at that same River Rave was also fucking awful. They went from cool synth-heavy industrial sounds back when I used to like them to crappy pop-rock.

Five Finger Death Punch was an unintentional comedy show when I saw them in 2008. So bad, it was enjoyable.

Was that the tour they were doing with Placebo? I bought tickets cause the tour was marketed as SWR being the opening act for Placebo. About half way through the tour the record label decided to give SWR a big push and have them co-headline. The night I ended up seeing them Placebo went on first, played only 10 songs, 8 of which were off their new album at the time (Meds :grumpy: ) The crowd was quite pissed to say the least. Didn't stay to see SWR but it ended up being one of my biggest concert let downs.

I feel that this is their niche.

A band called BBQ Pants opened for Dinosaur Jr here, and I am pretty sure my ears have never been more offended by anything ever.

I noticed that Caribou has gotten two votes already. I love Caribou, but haven't gotten to see them live yet, so I was just wondering what sucked about it? Was it just a guy with a laptop?
