On the free internet cable now (Pluto, Xumo, Samsung free channels etc) so I've been watching Dust, a sci fi network for indie style shorts, which are shown in anthology blocks. Pretty sweet so far.

Started watching Sym-Bionic Titan again on Netflix.
This show deserved 10 more seasons.

Wow, fuck Amazon for changing The Boys to episodic uploads, though.

Agreed about the staggered release of The Boys and eager for moar after blasting through episodes 1-3. Something tells me my opinion of certain characters may shift with time.

Upload ended up being exponentially better than anticipated. What appeared to be marketed in previews as absurdist afterlife comedy compatible with my spouse's current preference for sillier fare proved to be much darker and something I finished binging alone.

Also still trudging through all the most recent CW Arrowverse offerings on Netflix, which (along with other guilty pleasures like The 100 and Riverdale) will have to be streamed elsewhere beyond present seasons given licensing changes. It's unfortunate the official CW app has so many ads.

Hmm, that's interesting about Upload. I was tempted to give that a shot, but I had the same thoughts based on the previews. Living with Yourself was another one that proved to be much darker than expected. I still haven't finished it because I have a huge backlog of things to watch, but my fiancee couldn't finish it.

We just watched Fear City on Netflix, which was pretty wild. I would have liked to see some more from the mob's side of things, though. It was very focused on the FBI efforts to take the Mafia down.

And I'm currently binging Bob's Burgers. Considering I've only caught the odd rerun of this show, I am surprised at how many episodes I've already seen.

Charlie Kaufman Netflix movie played out as whatever you'd imagine a Charlie Kaufman Netflix movie would play out as

I did get bumped into a Disney+ account, so it's time this Apple Dumpling Gang Rides Again & again & again.

But also wonderful to see all the hand drawn animation in HD as the world collapses around us.

It was excellent, Jessie Buckley in particular was outstanding, as was Toni Collette. Really explores that dread you get in bursts in Being John Malkovich and Eternal Sunshine..., though I'm curious what y'all think of the ending.
