Haunted Ditto x2
Ditto's haunted. Anybody experienced something like this?
When I hit record, it works just fine. When I overdub, and then end the second layer, it seem to cough up some old recordings from its memory bank. But they come out all crackly, like they are being run thru a Fuck OD on the way out to my amp. I bought the pedal used, and the guitar sounds coming out of it are definitely not mine.
Pedal has worked great for about a year now, I've recorded a lot of riffs and stored them on my computer. Never had any issues till now.
Anyone know how to do a deep-clean of the memory in these pedals?

I'm with Paul on this one. You now have a random distorted audio transmitter.

Some kind of factory reset seems like your best option?
But also, I don’t know why you’d want to fix this “problem”?

if you hold the record button down continuously for like 20 seconds, the light should blink orange & then red - that means the pedal has been restored to the factory settings.

Yeah, he holds the record button down and the led lights up.
But the power supply isn't connected to the pedal.

thanks folks. that did it. i guess i could've tried asking TC with this one but this place is just like, more fun.
yeah i tried fucking with it as a weird noise monster for a bit. eventually I missed how awesome the non-haunted Ditto was.

I still have some stranger's loops saved from a Loop Station I bought used, and my current JamMan Stereo has a bunch of loops from the previous owner on it. I've used one in a song, and I think eventually I'll use all of them except maybe the long Rick and Morty clip.
Not the same as being haunted, I know.

You hear a strange noise in the middle of the night. Pulling a robe on you go downstairs to investigate.Paul_C wrote:voerking wrote:Yeah, he holds the record button down and the led lights up.

The looper is on your kitchen table. You could swear it was on your board in the guest bedroom when you went to bed.
The red light clicks on and you hear a voice. It’s Torre’s voice, but sounds distant, garbled..... like he’s on another plane. In a Danish accent the pedal says “mommy?” and then laughs manically.
