can we have the specs of it in one beautiful post now they've all been decided? I still don't know whats actually on it after so many pages of "can we have this?" "what about that?"

This is the list I've been keeping, not sure how accurate it still is but I feel pretty good about it. Ryan, can you validate this?
Stereo ins AND outs
Effects loop
Stereo expression
Decay control
Global modulation with rate and depth controls
Soft touch relay switching
Beefy power supply protection
maybe a buffered bypass option

hi..new to this board..im hunting a good reverb and it leads me to here., i hope this reverb will have a trail function..its really important for my kind of music, for smooth transition..im into heavy reverb and some other reverb i had, dont allow me to shift smoothly, they always abruptly stops, so a good trail function with this pedal will really got me into business...goodluck on the new reverb, cant wait for this.., any expected date?

Welcome to the forum, echo_ikaw! I'm afraid the trails option would be the at the bottom of the feature totem pole and I'm not sure yet if it'll make the final design.. the problem is I've got about a square inch of pcb room to add in this feature plus the toggle switches for it.
There's no expected date yet for it either, more bad news hey! I want to have the design finished this fall but production of the pcbs will take a few months after that.

Henry, you are correct in saying it's gonna have both stereo ins and outs and have an effects loop (stereo!) and it'll have 5 jacks, 6 if you wanna be all picky and count the dc power jack.
The stereo in and out and stereo effect loop will be switching jacks that you use a TRS cable with for stereo operation (thanks again to the geniuses who suggested that angle, Jack Deville and OinkBanana and Gururyan) and then a single expression pedal jack for mix that will control both left and right channels with one exp pedal... and it'll possibly accept a CV input too for some extra cool sounds...

Re: Top Mounted Everything! And RRR v2 discussions!
are you saying i can't use normal patch cables to connect it with other pedals?
what happens if one wants to use the effects loop in mono? or does it really need a stereo pedal?

Yep, 'fraid so Henry... the pedal will only work in stereo... you'll need two amps and two inputs also, so you better get good at playing the guitar and the keyboard at the same time!
Just kidding, if you don't want stereo operation you just use a regular mono patch cable. Stereo users will use a TRS cable. Everyone will be happy!

Woah,
Just read this in it's entirety.
This looks like it's going to be epic.
I am usually impatient, but please do take your time on this one.

(last question)
if i plugged (using normal patch cables) into both stereo ins from say a delay pedal (dd7, el capistant..whatever) and the outputs when to amps using normal cables it would be okay?
whats with the TRS cables?

If I understand the system thus far, that sounds legit. The Dr. will know for sure!
Also: TRS = Tip Ring Sleeve

Thanks for posting that pic, Jack, that helps a lot doesn't it! And thanks to you too, Kelly, you've got it exactly right there.
So that all makes sense now hey, Henry? To use the RRR with two amps you'd just need a TRS Y-cable where one end is the TRS plug and then it Ys into the tip on one mono cable and the ring on the other mono cable. It's a bit of a compromise as people will need TRS Y cables which maybe not everybody has already but it's a slick way to provide the stereo option.
