Drambo could've just been the sampler section and I would've already been crazy about it. It's so great, and Beepstreet keeps addings things and refining it.

The only thing I wish is that I would change the length of the channels independently, as I love polymetric sequences.

I wouldn’t rule that out in the future, seems like anything is possible with this app.

A workaround for that right now would be running multiple instances in AUM or Audiobus!

I'm running an iPad Pro and would like the iPad to send MIDI to my ancient synths. Is there even such a thing as a USB-C to MIDI DIN cable? Or do I need another conversion box?

Any class compliant audio interface works with iOS, so you can use one that supports midi to connect your synths to the iPad. Something like the iRig Pro for instance: https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/irigproio/

hey! Thanks for the recommendation. I did decide to nab that iRig Pro I/O. Now to find the most excellent iOS sequencers. So far, I use:

  Rozeta Suite

Any other thoughts out there for interesting / fun seqs?

You got the ones I was going to tell you about! Some of those are a bit on the older side, but it is what it is. I love Cality, autony, and Ioniarics; while they lack a bit of polish, the developer really knows how to make weird shit and I love them for it.

Of the ones you’ve recommended, I absolutely adore Fugue and Poly2.

I can’t recommend Drambo for sequencing enough. Essentially a modular Octatrack (I know I know) for $20.

Poly2 is one of the ones I tried first on Friday. It's amazing, for sure. I also have Drambo but don't have much experience in it yet. I'll keep poking at it, though, everyone seems to love it!

Yeah! The Airs are a total gem this generation, for the price you are getting a lot of power and a lot of cool features. Which is crazy to say when it comes to Apple.

Bit the bullet--best buy is running 100 bucks off the 256gb wifi air...i mean i had to get it right?

Now that it has Auv3 I can recommend Skiiid, which is a crazy awesome experimental drum/drone synth.

Shopping for a new iPad and I’m trying to figure out how much memory is enough. I would like to do some light multitrack recording, so I’m assuming more. But is 64 GB just a joke for that sort of use?
