Imagine being a middle-aged man and feeling that it's a productive use of your time to keep other adults from typing words like "shit."

Sounds very productive. I'm sure it keeps him away from the wife who all men like this seem to hate. Which is either the world's most boring joke, very sad, or more likely some combination of the two. :picard:

TGP's cussin' police is less ironic than a place called "gearslutz" doing the same.

I got to play an actual klon today when trying out an amp and honestly i was impressed by it but then I remembered that people pay over $22 for it

Yeah like it's a good sound, it was loud as fuck which was nice but I couldnt tell if the niceness was the klon or the amp. Still was pretty funny listening to the guy talking about how "some moron" was gonna buy it for 15000kr from him

 Jesus Christ that price. You would have to be pretty dumb.

I find that with boost/overdrive/compressor pedals all the time though. "Does it sound any better than if I had just turned the volume up on my amp?"

i know you're at least partly joking but a good klone does a compression/mid boost thing that i am too stupid to understand/fully explain, but i would wager it's a least a bit different to turning your amp up! keep an eye out for the fredric one, it's as good as any and pretty cheap.

I saw a Klone video where the guy used it with knobs dimed (very unlike the way it's usually used, I guess) and it sounded pretty awesome, grainy and lofi.

I was indeed mostly joking and good boost / ODs definitely do something else. But that's the thought that always runs through my head
