Also never have had a problem with PPG, but I've oddly never bought or sold anything on here, just Muffs and Facebook. Did someone just not send you what you paid for? And were they a stranger or something? Seems odd that someone would do that on here unless they were some random lurker. :idk:
Yeah, when buying here, it's preferable to buy and sell from regulars because there are significant consequences on the forum for screwing someone over.

I've bought and sold more than 100 times on Reverb. They're probably still the best place around, but this is leaving me bitter.
Just curious, you mind sharing what specific issue the buyer had? Did they have a specific problem or did they make some shit up just so they could get a return? I've always wondered about this, but as of now I'm still in the boat you were previously in: zero problems with sales or purchases. I'm sure it'll happen to me someday, but so far I've been lucky.
I sold an older Maschine for dirt cheap, and the guy complained it didn't have the latest software. I never said it had the latest software. So I'm getting burned because I didn't include something that was never part of the sale in the first place. My listings all say I only take returns for shipping damage, but that doesn't protect me.

Sigh.

Yeah, you agree to the reverb/pp/ebay return policy when you use them for a sale. Your own store policies matter very little in the end. We have been fairly lucky overall. Never had an issue on Reverb, very few customer returns, etc but even one is super stressful, especially if money is tight.

In news, PMS is the fucking worst. It creates in me spite, hate, rage, apathy, and mild irritation, all while crying about dumb shit. Sigh.

Man that's SUPER bogus. Total dickhole move on the buyer's part... couldn't he have just... upgraded the software? I could be wrong but I think that stuff's available for free on the NI site if you own the hardware. Just sounds like an excuse to return something he didn't end up wanting :idk:

Regardless, sorry you got hosed.

Yeah that's wack as fuck. Even if you're beholden to the site's return policy, how could that possibly include items you didn't include in your sale?

PMS is wack as fuck too.

Depends on how you look at it. My last daughter was unplanned and she's an awesome kid! I'm so lucky to have her! She's my little minion and almost a clone of me (at least my humorous side, she's not a nutball like I am lol).

Put conditioner in their pubes I guess! :thumb:

My lenses have some special coating on them that the eye doctor talked me into... I think it makes them extra prone to smudges.

i try to avoid coatings, because they always start to wear out before the glasses are obsoleted. i believe i did get an anti-glare coating on the new ones, though--IIRC it was standard/required--and my prescription sunglasses have polarized lenses. for this batch of glasses i'm trying to use the little cleaning cloths that come with new lenses...eventually the lenses always get scratched if i wipe them on my t-shirt.

Speaking of spite, hate, rage, apathy, and mild irritation and crying about dumb shit, fucking lawyers, man :picard: My project is gimped because the client's lawyers say we can't refresh our databases with data they provided us because that wasn't stipulated in our contract, so now we have to burn more of our cash to hire IT lawyers to convince the client that data refresh is expected and they have to rewrite their contract to indicate as much. Leading us to be delayed again while the modification is put on hold until the lawyers can get paid. Just..... :picard:
