fender power chorus 15 OR Roland jazz chorus 40

Post by Piecutter »

The fender power chorus 15 is the red knob. She wants $250 but I’m gonna offer $200 and see what happens.
The jazz chorus 40 is in real good shape.... but it’s twice as expensive. I just offered 400.
If I want them I have to act quick!
What do
You guys think?

I’d go with the Roland.

Def go with the Roland. They sound great and can handle anything you throw at em. My buddy has a 120 that he uses for his rhoads and it handles that low end and heavy distortion/fuzz like a champ. Also has better resale if you don’t dig it.

I would go with the fender. It is probably just as good as a jc120 without all the hype. Red knob stuff seems really cool imo

I see a lot of flipped red knobs for low low prices but I never see anyone flipping a Roland Jazz Chorus because they didn’t like it.

If it were me - I would invest in what you’re going to be happy with long term.

But if you think the red knob is cool..... then maybe it was meant to be!!

Man I snoozed on it too long and when I finally got the money and was ready to pull the trigger it was sold! He was like man I just sold it this morning... maybe it’s for a reason. I think the JC 40 might have been too small. The JC120 is what I really wanted. Oh well, I appreciate you guys responding. The fender seems cool but I don’t know. I only found out about it when I was looking into the Roland.
Now I just need to find something else to invest my money into. Im currently unemployed because of the pandemic but I have some money to invest. I was thinking about trying to start a little used equipment online shop. Like small tube amps, pedals and what not.. I really like the community here and appreciate all the feedback I get when I ask questions or need advice. Cheers to you all!!
