Isn't that what the Wet knob is for? I haven't noticed it being an unfixable problem.

I have mixed feelings about this pedal overall. I got it because I wanted the expression control, and I like that element of it. However, my favorite part of the Cooper Generation Loss is the Noise knob, and the CB version's Hiss can't be controlled via expression. Having control over Flutter is nice, but the single Wow control isn't as useful as the Speed and Depth controls on the original. On the plus side, the CB version is less noisy, and the filters sound a little bit better to me.

Does anyone like the Aux functions? The "max out the Mod" thing is useless, the Gen control is slightly less useless, and the Filter thing is okay sometimes.

I'm looking forward to seeing what Cooper FX comes up with for the updated Generation Loss, whether it's a new standalone pedal or a cartridge for the Arcades.

No, the Wet knob is for mixing in the dry signal. A volume knob would control volume. If I don't want any dry signal, which I don't, the volume increase is pretty significant. Or am I misunderstanding something? Unfortunately I can't find the manual and Chase Bliss did not post one online, for some reason.

I'm with you as far as the mixed feelings are concerned. I found a setting I like but it does not involve the Aux switch at all and I don't use the Hiss either. I just wish the volume increase wasn't so massive.

I did when I had mine. I actually liked that it did that. The previous GL that I had volume was too low, so the boost to me was awesome.


Also, I totally regret selling mine. Sigh. At least someone got it for close to retail and is probably enjoying it still.

Maybe? If you've got the Dry toggle set to None, the Wet knob controls your overall level. Turning the Wet knob all the way CCW means no signal at all, fully CW is a pretty hefty boost. If you've got your Wet knob maxed (this is getting a little naughty sounding) with the idea that you need to do so in order to have no dry signal, that could explain the volume increase. Just make sure the Dry toggle is set to None and turn the Wet knob to about halfway. That's the way mine works, at least.
