Pedals are definitely obsolete technology as are guitars :animal:

I would argue that if you are a really great musician, pedals don't really matter...and if you aren't a really great musician, pedals don't really matter also.

FWIW, I bought one of the Arcades today. I'm pretty excited to check it out, but also pretty bummed that I had to decide on which flavor of cartridges it would come with...and knowing that I'll be looking at spending another $100 or so to take advantage of everything that the pedal offered at release...but similarly excited about the idea that more effects can be developed for the pedal over time.

First thought was the Elta one too, which I'm assuming came about after getting the the idea from Devi Ever.

Console... Arcade... Anyway, it sounds great and I'm sure people will have a ton of fun with it. That's the point.

Can confirm that CooperFX Arcades is pretty phenomenal...at least the Lofi and Pitch cards have some awesome effects on them.

Wish it came w all of them.

Anyone check out the verb and delay cards yet? Do tell?

I've been mostly all about the LoFi card. All of the effects on it are pretty awesome.

I'm so impressed with it I've actually considered grabbing a delay/reverb version. It would make for a powerful team and do a lot on a board.

I need to quit this place if I don’t want to live in a van down by the river. I was already wanting a second CT5 for the Nightly firmware.

Interesting... Funny how they've gone for a very different sequencer setup on this one. But I'll keep my eye out for demos.
