Buying random crap you don't need = standard lockdown protocol...right?
Anyways, something I can't found out anywhere online. There's just the yt clips, which so far don't seem promising...
Can de DD-200 do that glitchy DD-5 type of reverse effect? As stupid as it sounds, that's the one last thing that could pull me over de edge and make me buy one.
For me delay pedlols are like beer, or doritos or something. Even if I'm full and 100% positive it's the last thing in earth I need more of...I still end up doing what any low life addict would do
I can't answer the question, unfortunately, but I can say that I get the appeal of the dd200 over the 500. I had a dd500 and an rv500. Both had lots of great sounds but I couldn't get on with the menus. Now here I am, wanting to try out a dd200... and an od200.

I don't have a DD-200, but since BOSS "fixed" the glitchy DD5 reverse when they made the DD6, I would guess that the DD-200 can't get the same sound. The DD5 is one of those pedals where the quirks make it pretty special imho.
It's just that the DD-5 is...well, it's an old boss pedal
And with today's insane weird effects, with all the clone pedals and the tricked out digital modeling stuff and the countless trippy unique boutique stuff...
It seems almost weird that no boutique builder would make a pedal that does the reverse mode of the DD-5. Just that actually, that would be enough for me. But throwing in an extra hold/freeze/glitch/reverb mode or even just a plain reverb or delay mode...that'd just be pretty fucking awesome imo.
DD-5's are getting harder to find around here it seems, or at least for the money I'm willing to pay. I'm obsessed with that reverse mode, but it's not like that one trick that I'd is worth an unreasonable price.
