Can't recommend these enough!
This pedal is so damn loud but the MASF Thornoscillator will do absurd things too.

Also Velcrobot is ace. I don't own one but I got one for my best friend for his birthday. It was when Tom did that insane deal with the artwork pictured above.

Haha guitar go BRRR
This too!
Or a feedbacker pedal. The digitech one can be found for cheap.

Yo thanks for all the suggestions so far. Can't wait to make unlistenable nonsense, and make my band mates hate me, when we're able to go outside again.

qersty is right- guitar abuse is an important component of making interesting noise. My favs for inspo are Makoto Kawabata, Haino, Otomo Yoshihide, Bill Nace, Ira Kaplan and Ollie himself

Tools include a guitar slide, screwdrivers, springs, ebow etc. For effects, I have an DBA Evil Filter and the fuzz part helps a ton with adding bottom end to the sound. You could try out an Absolute Destruction- may be close. If you're looking for APTBS-esque freakouts, try running a reverb and wah into dirt and holding double stops. Octave and boost pedals can help fuck up your dirt pedals even more, some light chorus may be interesting too.

In summary definitely go DBA for your dirt- i don't think many other manufacturers make OTT dirt pedals in the style you want

Also, you can use the no-input mixer technique and chuck some reverbs/delays in the fx loop. I like to run mine into auto tune so the notes are more harmonized lol
