Why you be dying fam/This world....
Dear ILF,
Do you remember when we used commune and speak of fuzzes for days on end, while also wonder how we would afford to purchase said fuzzes? There was laughter, and fighting, and love, but also fighting...well...ok lots of fighting. Anyway, like a family who once was together in fuzzes warm glowing, warming, glow, we too have fallen out of the errr glow. Forlorn am I for the days of yonder. For the days of yestermorrow and yesteryear.
My brothers and sisters in crime, I mean fuzz, can we not unite once more in the name of the fuzz gods? Can we not destroy the barriers once again and become a family unit in this time of crisis?!?!
On the real though, I'm losing my fucking mind here. What are you guys doing? I have like 4 pedals I want to build but I have no parts. You?????

I'm bleeping and blooping and yet also fuzzing out. I tread the balanced path.
I want to build some fuzzes and probably have parts but I'm just unmotivated and very rusty at that stuff (which I was never great at even when I did it more).

The wold is changing, people aren't experimenting. Venues are closing.Soundcloud rap is a thing... and as a alt it's weird, there was a time it made sense, it was fun, there was things to say, now.. I'm all you have of me as me doesn't want to deal with fuzz right now if ever.

Too busy to do much fuzzing, blooping, or looping between work, home renovations, and the end of days.
But it may be a good time for fuzz breaux to re-examine their rigs, write, learn techniques for playing and sound extraction, and to web-enabled collaborative projects (dropbox band, shared DAW projects, visualizing someone else’s music, etc.).

Too busy trying to find new ways to entertain my daughter lately. If I had my pedalboard here I could at least make funny noises with here, but I left it at work before being forced to stay at home
Also it's time to put the fuzz back on those boards, Enough with granular! Enough with modular!

Oh, you can definitely stomp on a modular.
Had a great fuzz session the other day. Had been looking into PLLs a bit, but reminded myself of the sweet suboctaves one can get with an oscillating fuzz.
Think I might have to get a Great Destroyer again, rehouse it with my She Fuzz to just have a big box of broken sounds on the board. Should probably wait until our currency is less fucked, though...

Bro, my favorite boxes have been Dwarfcraft for fucked up fuzzes and broken sounds. She Fuzz and TGD would be boss homie! Is the She Fuzz board mounted pots? I bet you could fit the whole thing in a relatively small box. May even be able to stack PCB's.Eivind August wrote:Oh, you can definitely stomp on a modular.

I am still tinkering with my BioMoon pedal, trying to iron out some kinks. Also working on a delay-looper thing for Eivind.
But mostly I'm just doing school stuff, which is fine, but I'd rather make pedals and play with them.

Work has ground to a halt for me, so i’m full-time wrangling the kids and helping my wife to try and keep her business alive. Filling in the rare gaps with writing, and digging the hell out of the Electrofoods Pig Pile that I picked up during his most recent run.

Re: Why you be dying fam/This world....
Dudes I wonder if I can still get parts. I gotta do something. Can't work outside, can't hang out with friend. My kids are going crazy. FUCK!!!
On a lighter note my friend told me that I was using the Pandemic as a way to not work. He was calling me lazy because I'm trying to comply with the counties orders.
This whole thing has brought some shit to light for me. I don't know if I wanted to deal with it though. I need to possibly drop my best friend.
I've been painting boxes with paint though, that's been a lot of fun.
Biomoon sounds legit asf too.

If he's encouraging people to defy the isolation advice and go out and work and be in contact with people anyway he doesn't sound like the best friend.
that sucks dude
