The OG is still one of the most failure-prone pedals ever, but it's Ibanez, so I guess reminding everyone about those failures (even if the guts were rebuilt from the ground up....?) is kind of expected.

Also, with all these collabs happening everywhere, I'm surprised they didn't join up with Deadbeat Sound for better cases, but them's the breaks (literal, figural, animal & vegetable)

Glad that I'm in no way horny for any of these uber-expensive Chase Bliss things. I'm sure the reverb is going to be great but I wouldn't really care that much about the authentic tone blah blah blah playing guitar and I can get pretty much all the way there in a DAW with VintageVerb for $50.

The CXM 1978 is beautiful, really, in every way. I'm not even going to complain about the price, because it's already out of my league, and as pedals are creeping up to elder days rack unit prices, I'll be happy somewhere in the middle (I mean the end). Or I'll just start hanging around people with longer & higher credit lines, who will, unfortunately, be younger and harder to tolerate (that's why God created Instagram stories).

But I'll probably end up with an Alesis Wedge & that one book about Polish radio & a few take-out dinners, instead.

a frequency flipper, shifts the lower end up and the higher end down. Like a green ringer on steroids.

Funny thing for me it's the DIN ports. I never liked the TRS to MIDI thing that Meris, CB and all those Knobs-approved companies used (and also fuck the MIDI over USB and Bluetooth), and now that they finally added DIN ports, MIDI 2.0 is moving to TRS
Maybe they are targeting this pedal for studios where DIN MIDI ports are more common?
Is MIDI 2.0 maintaining backwards compatibility?
Is compatibility an English word?

They got pulled from GC, but its called the paranormal series. They're reissuing the the Super Sonic, Toranado and Cyclone as well
