Happy Belated Birthday!
Just saw that the Alesis SR16 came out in 1990. That makes it 30 years old! This has to be the longest in-production digital music product ever! It’s basically a living ancient species that hasn’t changed much (now 24-bit rather than 16-bit) over the years like a crocodile. Anyway, it’s rare to see this sort of staying power for digital.
