I've got one of these on its way to me, who else has used one? I have heard there are mixed results using it with guitar but I am hoping I can get some good single note leads on the low strings at least. I'm planning to run just about everything I've got through it at some point too.
I've wanted one of these for a while but they used to be $$$, then I guess the bottom fell out of prices when people finally figured out it isn't analog.

Re: BOSS SYB-3
I have a Syb-5,
I like it a lot. I don't really care that it's not analog, it sounds good to me. Also into some fuzz, it not being analog really doesn't matter.
It can be a pretty devastating effect depending on how you use it.
I think you'll dig yours.

Re: BOSS SYB-3
I have a SYB-5 as well as its Behringer clone, and I definitely dig them. It's one of the few real synth pedals on the market, and it can do some great synth tones. (Most of the other "synth" pedals out on the market are basically just a combo of a fuzz, and octave and a filter). I'm only used it on bass so far, however, so I can't speak to how it responds to guitar. I would recommend that you solo your neck pickup and roll your tone knob back when you're using it, as it doesn't like high-frequency harmonics.

Used one briefly before. Was pretty awesome. Especially with a sound source like a drum machine.
