YONGO SHIKI KEBADATE HIZUMASEKI SUPER FUZZ, RATTLE CROW,SPK1

Post by Kayzer »

I scored some discontinued LastGasp Pedals from a Blow Out Sale at a German online shop last week and I am still stunned to get some ultra rare LAL pedals in a pristine condition for a steal of a price! The Store was offereing these for around 8 years at a retarded high price and I was dropping in there waiting for that blow out once a month for a few years now… After all these years I went lucky and here is a mini review, pictures and of course the youtube demo shizzel…

The 45 Super fuzz is a beast, it reminds me a lot on the Buzzaround Dave built for me back then just with some more upper octave shit going on! Its indeed mean and gnarly! Controls are acting interactive, cranking up the volume increases the gain massively, Character is a Tone Control and the Expand knob is adding the upper octave aswell as even more gain…Very versatile fuzz and definitely a keeper, not only a collectors piece!

The Rattle Crow is a noise monster, its pretty though to explain what its doing and the pedal name is picked very well it sounds like a screaming crow mixed with an angry rattlesnake! It’s a pretty shrill pedal and kind of a one trick pony but whatever its doing strange noises and I think its pretty cool pedal…

The Sick Pitch King 1 is the only one out of the three I will end up sending back to the shop cause the carrier signal is bleeding through even when its bypassed and I already have too many Ring Mod goodness going on and would only end up keeping it for collectors reasons what I don’t want! The Trem/Vibrato sounds are pretty cool but ultra dirty, the higher ring mod sounds are metallic and harsh from bell to clang sounds…

Instead of sending the Pitch King back, how about you sell it to me? :)
Great demoz, as usualz. That Crow pedal must've been invented for Merzbow or somethin.

Damn! cool! LastGasp is one of those makers that if I could I would buy as much of their stuff as I can [I only have SOF88  ]

You don't have the two I gas most for though the SAKURA booster and the RIPPLET :)*

Thanks for the nice words guys! I really love that Super fuzz and the rattle crow is also a nice addition to my collection to think out side of the box and find new ways of playing to implement it in music! Too bad the SPK1 has this bypass bleeding problem...
