i've seen some insane ebay deals on rotospheres, they sound pretty great. but they are massive!
not enough people use univibes. it's such a great sound. especially with dirt.
Definitely agree with the people saying it's a tremolo plus chorus or leslie - there are bits where it could be entirely leslie but the bit at the end where it's only tremolo makes me think that it's two things most of the way through. Maybe try that plus the flanger and see if it sounds fun.
I downloaded the CD quality version. the stereo image is much more apparent than the youtube upload. its 2 guitars panned left and right.
LEFT: dry, sometimes a little tremolo a points
RIGHT: leslie sounding effect,
@echorec is correct that a stereo thing happens around 0:27-0:29 but I hear it as the right guitar for some reason pans over to the left channel for a little , otherwise the actual swirly effect is mono
@pepe is correct the right (swirly) guitar stops being swirly at 6:52, and engages tremolo. which makes me think it was not an actual spinning speaker, still could be but
I think the general consensus is correct its a pedal leslie simulator or some chorus/flanger or leslie sim but not phaser/univibe
You can hear the two panned guitars on YouTube or at least I could. Depends on listening environment I guess. The right one is the one I was talking about. But yeah, agree.
