Volume pot mod on Cooper FX Outward V1

Wondering if anyone on here ever had their Outward v1 modded to fix the signal drop? Saw one for sale about 6 months back on reverb saying he had it professionally done having a internal trim pot installed. So supposedly it's been done, just trying to figure out how as I love this pedal and would love to keep using it without having to compensate with a boost after it.
