Right?? At least be honest about what you’re up to. Somehow, fibbing about the intent makes it slimier.weebles wrote:"Wasn't planning on flipping, I just bought it and didn't play it because I know I should feel shame about this but here we are hehe"

And....it sold. Hopefully not for anywhere near $650.

I mess w em sometimes.Gone Fission wrote:Would one get banned from Reverb if they messaged that seller to tell him that he should die in a fire? Asking for a friend.
I told one of the Gen Loss flippers on Reverb that I had a pool bet with some gear people that his shop would not only flip the pedal but that it’d be listed before the weekend’s end. And that his douchebaggery won me money and I thanked him.
Also, calling them chicken-shits for not hitting 4 figures w their asking price is a fun one. “Go big or go home you sackless coward. I don’t care if your fake dog needs surgery or not. Hit that $1K. $650 is chicken-shit”...room for riffing.

I really like mine. I thought I wouldn’t but it fixes all the issues I previously had with the pedal. I honestly didn’t know they were going to make more, so I would have waited lol. I’m not even sure how to use the ramping function. I need to figure that out.
Anyway it’s a boss pedal. I love mine.

There's no more CBA V.2's, just Cooper FX when he has them ready next year in what seems a different scheme.Jwar wrote:I really like mine. Do you mean ramping with this pedal in particular, or ramping as an overarching concept with CBA pedals?Jwar wrote:I really like mine. Both I guess? I don’t quite get how to use it even though I read. Maybe I’m a dumbass...lol

No, I totally felt the same way and it took me a while to get the hang of it. Mood was my first CBA pedal, and I totally didn't get ramping for a while.Jwar wrote:Both I guess? I don’t quite get how to use it even though I read. Maybe I’m a dumbass...lol
I can try to explain it, but it being new to me, I'd probably confuse you further. I found the following videos helpful tho:

Re: Chase Bliss x Cooper FX Generation Loss
Don't know if this helps, but ramping is essentially the automated moving of knobs. There are a few ways you control the automation:
1. The ramp knob controls the SPEED at which the knobs move from their start point to their end point. There is also a dip switch that controls the SHAPE for how the automation moves through that range (square or triangle).
2. One side of the dip switches sets WHICH CONTROLS are being automated (the on/off side). On = automated, off = static.
3. The other side of the dip switches controls the DIRECTION each control moves when automated (the rise/fall side). Rise = CW movement of the knob, fall = CCW movement.
4. The 'sweep' dip controls the RANGE of the sweep on all knobs. CBA ramping always ramps between two points - (1) the knob position and (2) one of the extremes of the pot. This dip controls which extreme of the pot is being used for ramping. If the dip is set to 'b' (bottom) it will sweep between full CCW on the pot and the knob position; if set to 't' (top) it will sweep between the knob position and full CW.
5. The bounce dip controls whether the automation REPEATS. If bounce = off, then there is just a one-time automated movement when you turn the pedal on. If bounce = on, then the automation repeats (technically, it goes forward, then backward, then forward etc.)

I really like this pedal still. I don't understand why anyone would flip it honestly. It's an awesome filter but has soo many good options. I really dig mine and will love it as long as it loves me.

But, but everyone says they loved it, but ended up having to pay some sort of unexpected bill. Certainly no one is being dishonest?shikawkee wrote:The flippers didn't even try it, believe me.

There's now one listed for $1k. Did you bully them into it?raj007 wrote:I mess w em sometimes.Gone Fission wrote:Would one get banned from Reverb if they messaged that seller to tell him that he should die in a fire? Asking for a friend.

Oh, there's a few on Reverb that openly admit it. They're listed as new unopened/unplayed.shikawkee wrote:The flippers didn't even try it, believe me.
