What's the altitude here? considering the kind of trees it seems to be under 2000 meters, but i might be wrong, it's really a new kind of view for people used to Alps (like me), would love to make some excursions there.

Carrying the camera with the simple standard strap is one of the most annoying things to me but I haven't found something that could work, because anyway I m always gonna have my backpack. I always end changing position every 10 steps if holding the camera, and then put the camera back in the bag. Lately I have decided to take the camera out only if I see something I want to photograph. I also carry just one lens mounted on the camera, usually a 16-55 that's good for most things, and leave the big ones at home (unless I know I m going to see a lot of fauna).
