Re: ILFSS 2019 Wishlist Thread
I like most things. The things I dislike include music gear brands that support murder, black licorice, illegal things, and dressing in all black.
Things I like include mechanical effects, things that make ugly noises, chocolate based sweets, your music, and regional foods/snacks/candies. I keep flirting with the idea of repurchasing an HM-2, but it was always too quiet in my setup. I prefer music gear with immediate access to its functions. There are so many cool, glitchy things I haven’t tried, but I’m always tempted by them. The only gear I’m waiting on right now is the RD-8.
I like shirts that are medium sized and a little snug. Fanny packs are always cool.

Dear Santa,
I'll post something more substantial in the next few days. Sorry I haven't been especially stalkable of late.
I love you,

Re: ILFSS 2019 Wishlist Thread
I don’t eat animals. That includes gelatin.
I’m wearing an XL lately.
I have not joined the modular revolution. I do want to dabble in VCV Rack, so maybe next year I’ll be in?
For pedal stuff, I think previous ILFSS wishlist is still about right. Add stalking and you’ll get an idea what I’m paying attention to. Current inventory seeded into an old post.
Been thinking a lot about battery op compact synths and samplers for headphone jamming on the train on my commute.
I think I’m on the verge of committing to a mostly ampless lifestyle with studio monitors or small FRFR monitors in stereo. Makes me a bit open minded about tone generation and shaping, since I’m more into faking being interesting than faking authenticity. I probably ought to get more into compressors, accordingly.

Re: ILFSS 2019 Wishlist Thread
Wohey, as usual, I disappear during weekends, but here I am to ease my secret Satan life.
I eat almost everything
I wear a Medium size shirt, all colors are welcomed, white in particular way.
I have a daughter that by Christmas is gonna be almost 2years old, so lately I m not listening to much extreme stuff except I do it with headphones, so i have been listening to a lot of jazz and ambient stuff, but my background is prog, math, heavy stuff, noise, etc etc a lot. If you have a band or a project, i want to listen to it.
Gear: stalk me, sometimes I ask for things that I want and then forget the day after. Anyway you can't go wrong with things that make me sound like I don't play a guitar but a flamethrower from space or a tiny ensemble of jungle animals, got the idea?
Uh, I don't post much, but you can find me on Instagram as dowichewie (yes, I'm a Star Wars nerd)

- Treats: Chocolate and/or caramel based sweets. Baked goods welcome. Light Roast whole coffee beans. Homemade jerky if you make and wanna share! No dietary/allergy restrictions.
- If you're inclined to send alcohol-based beverages: I like scotch, whiskeys, bourbons... the kind that taste like medieval wooden castle doors. For beer I'm pretty open but to be safe no sours.
- Can play vinyl and tape, CDs too. Show me your music, your friends music, favorites of yours. Really into anything. Especially Electronic, jazz, indie rock, dolly parton, final fantasy soundtracks, etc. Something goofy from a thrift store I can through in a cassette deck and sample always welcome! If you make art, photographs, or anythign creative, I would love hanging it in my home or place it around my workspace!
For music making devices I am drifting more and more into electronic music each year. Inexpensive desktop Samplers, drum machines, synths, or ways to process those things are welcome. Pretty set guitar wise for fx. For eurorack, here is my rack: https://cdn.modulargrid.net/img/racks/m ... 794246.jpg Been really looking at Noise engineering for euro stuff. I've made a conscious effort to post more with clues lately, hopefully that helps!
If you're a fellow graphic novel reader I'd love to receive a favorite of yours. I just started, so chances are I haven't read it. Sci-fi, thriller, slice of life, coming of age, abstract, historical, whatever. Books I have read and enjoyed this past fall/summer are On a Sunbeam, Upgrade Soul, How to Survive in the North, and A Drifting Life. I don't have any other Tillie Walden books. I just bought a lot of Yoshihiro Tatsumi and Osamu Tezuka collections, so I'm set there.
I love Full Metal Alchemist. And could use some Super Nintendo role playing carts.
Used/second hand is welcome! My instagram is @ruiningphotography and twitter is @taurusmoon666

Re: ILFSS 2019 Wishlist Thread
Dear Satan-
Foods I like:
Peanut butter.
Milk chocolate.
I dislike the bitterness of dark chocolate
Frooty candy like skittles
hot sauces
bbq sauces
Cheeses
caramel
I have been doing a lot of cooking on one of these:
https://www.blackstoneproducts.com/shop ... -2-burner/
I make burgers, tacos, pancakes, steaks, whatever is clever
Shirt size:
Large
I'm working on a bunch of gear projects right now, and I'm going full gear pedge, so stalk away.
THe music I am currently making is best described as surf thrash. Think the shape of punk to come meets Dick Dale
I can just add a soundclip so you get an idea:

Re: ILFSS 2019 Wishlist Thread
Between my general antisocial nature and some up and down life stuff, I ended up posting even less than my usual this year. And of course I fell on the double edge sword of going all-in on modular. ILF is the closest thing I have to a digital home, but I spent a lot of time lurking elsewhere, trying to pickup deals on used whatnots for my rack.
I eat meat. So do the cats. Not big on sweets, but if you throw in something dark chocolate Mrs Meow will sing your praises.
My board? Don’t have one - haven’t since I left NYC. Thinking about it now, I don’t think I bought any pedals in 2019? First time that’s happened in 20-25yrs? But what ever I wrote in years past is probably more or less accurate.
My rack(s) is up on modulargrid - same s/n - as well as my current window shopping and curiosity list.
What do I like? If it’ll drone, i’ll dig it. If it’s capable of obscene bass heavy violence, even better. Purple. Noise. Canada. Scotch. XXL. spec/scifi.
What I don’t like? Bro-ish hatemongery stuff. JHS, synthrotek, etc. Perc circuits. Mushrooms, raw stone fruits, beer. Kinda iffy on ring mods.
What could I use? Some new Chase Bliss stuff looks interesting. RMA looks like the new hotness. Droneranger? Death Metal? Some cool euro thing? A bag of coal?
But you know all this. You’re stalking my ass, right?

There's one on Ebay for 400 bucks.
I wouldn't worry about it turning up in your ILFSS stocking.
