40. Lame ass fake chase bliss company made people fill out applications to get their lame ass pedal. If it sounds like I'm perturbed about it... it's cause I am. It's not that I wanted the lame ass pedal.. I didn't. I'm not even upset at the principal that people "did" fill out the application to get it. This is fucking capitalism... shit should be easy to buy. We're not rationing chocolate 1943 Europe or building wells in the Congo.. this is a pedal. The Marcel Proust in me wants to sum it up in one sentence... "Prove you're a douche bag so you can buy our douchey pedal."

I have one of these pedals and I'll be honest, it doesn't sound that great to me.

38. I did not want to like the JHS Show... but I do. I actually have learned some new things in all his vlogs.

As I noted above I was wary due to some very unpleasant things I have heard (but read plausible denials so ) but I genuinely like his videos and his enthusiasm for pedal geekery.

The "profiles left" is separate from the "dark". For the "normal" mode you can choose either profiles left or right. Dark mode doesn't have that option. It's only profiles on the right.

I have one of these pedals and I'll be honest, it doesn't sound that great to me.

Thank you for being honest! I mean... it's still an expensive pedal, so I'm bummed you went through all that for that. Sometimes when you get to the top of a mountain... the only thing there is a fucking Arby's (wait... that's a good thing now?)

But that's not the point. Call me delusional but I just think it's really lame to require what is basically a college essay to buy pedal. Who knows, maybe this is just the next logical step in the evolution of consumerism? Perhaps there will be courses like for SAT prep?

The irony DOES NOT escape me that I have probably (oh 100%, let's not kid ourselves) written way more about this than the people who filled out the application wrote. INB5-1 "if you don't want it, don't fill it out". That irony does not escape me either. I'm just talking shit. That what forums are for.
