Re: Sonic Koalas
Having lots of fun using my Tenori-On right now - anything that allows me to muck about with the pedals is great, plus I like being able to have poly-rhythms in my stuff.
The harsh clangy sounds in this are in part due to my self-built Finish Line clone, which took a fair bit to get right, so that pleases me too.

I listened. You're done doing the things I want to do!
"SWIPE LEFT ASSHOLE!" -retinal orbita
"Whatever ASSHOLE here’s my pedal that makes humpback whale noises and also it has a built in sequencer so stick it in your craw! -retinal orbita
"Patty Mullen takes me from a ball peen to a sledge" -The Great Velvet Hammer
"...at this exact moment Divine has learned of your jealous scheme from the local town gossip. She also has your address, ASS HOLE!" -Narrator (Mr. J) PINK FLAMINGOS
1 bird per post please

Re: Sonic Koalas
My brain read that last title as "Orac", like in Blake's 7, so do pardon my presumption that you might be capable of dropping a Blake's 7 reference.
solo (mostly ambient): https://heraclitusakimbo.bandcamp.com/
duo (electroacoustic vibration exploration): https://wenderlypark.bandcamp.com/
trio (tapes/voice/clarinet/synth/poems): https://ourwaytofall.bandcamp.com/
band (spontaneous kosmische): https://stargoon.bandcamp.com/
I also help co-ordinate Okta, ILF's collaborative community ambient project: https://okta.bandcamp.com

The last two were Tenori-On into Slicer, Ghost Fax, BitQuest, Marshmallow and Colour Theory.$harkToootth wrote:I listened. You're done doing the things I want to do!

Re: Sonic Koalas
I did watch Blake's 7 back when it was first on, so it might have happened, but not on this occasionHeraclitus Akimbo wrote:My brain read that last title as "Orac", like in Blake's 7, so do pardon my presumption that you might be capable of dropping a Blake's 7 reference.

I get a lot of my titles from M John Harrison's blog (for some reason it amuses me to do so), picking phrases and words that catch my eye (Slouching, my track for the Okta project came from there) and the last three are the daftest approach yet, using the end of one word and the beginning of the next, separated by a /.
Once in a blue moon a title will actually pop into my head, but usually I have no idea, so it's handy to have a go-to resource for titles

The images are often far more random, but generally involve google images - I might go back to messing around with them in Paint Shop Pro but haven't bothered for a while as I doubt the owner of the image would get too angry over 5-10 views
