Ocasek must have some kind of record for radio hits he was part of as a musician and involvement as producer. The debut Cars album is almost entirely songs that get constant play on classic rock/80s rock radio today.

“Shake It Up” was my go to song for work karaoke. Also, a staple track of THE LAST AMERICAN VIRGIN.
I fucking love THE CARS bros and broettes. On so many different levels. I feel for his kids. They are going to miss their Dad. I also feel for the kids who grew up listening to his music. You are still kids!
