Reverb pedals?

Post by dronemachine »

Hey fuzz fiends  !I'm looking for an analog reverb over-the-top unit,I may buy the real hand made tube unit, but I'm also interested in this one. I can't try it in the store,'cause there are no tech 21 pedals in my country :( .So help the brother out if you played one of these!I don't want to buy some POS and regret it afterwards...This one looks great w/all the knobs, and I can only guess that it is high quality reverb pedal (I don't like the digital emulator preset pedals and I was never happy w/the pedals that try to do it all, they always suck, for me at least)...

Thanx

Reverse reverb doesen't exist in live effects, does it?
I mean, reverse delay are one thing, but reverb? It "guesses" when you are about to play and even guesses what chord or note you are playing?
Reverse reverb = studio after effects, for my brain at least.

I've used some of the rack stuff (older lexicons) and I was impressed with the quality of reverbs, but i prefer pedals...played verbzilla and digiverb and almost every boss reverb out there, but those kind of pedals are not for me.It may sound funny, but somehow I always enjoy the gear that is versatile in it's own right (like DE pedals! :joy: ),rather than the ones that try to emulate the whole history of the particular effect...In the words of J Mascis-'If everything is possible, why do anything?' HaHaHa :)

You can find that kind of effect in yamaha spx racks,it's the MBV's Loveless sound! It reflects the sound in backwards.

Played that one and the midiverb, too ;) .I think those are more 'Isn't anything'.I remember the 'bloom' preset,it sounded pretty much like 'All I Need',but that's the reason I'm afraid to use those racks,MBV ghosts all over the place, hehe :)

man i sound lame :bob:

you gonna get that pedal CWY?

I think so...sounds cool enough to me,and maybe more flexible than the tube reverb. That was the easy part, now all I have to do is find cool online store to ship it all the way here...so I guess it's happening this summer!I hope so.
Btw,I agree w/you :) I mean the fun part!

Hmmm...I may also check this one! It's hand made tube reverb,my bandmate bought the small tweed custom amp from the same guy and he uses it more often than his SF twin reverb,it kicks ass!!!The price is 200 euros, not so much for a point to point all tube unit!

aha, so the reverse reverb is applicated to the delays?
(it was at least in all demos of pedals that featured it I saw on youtube)
Well then it makes sense.

Space station!
I wants one!
