I've got a Disaster Area dmc micro and I'm trying to hook it up to a Chase Bliss Dark World using the multijack cable Disaster Area sells on its website.
I've followed all of the directions in the instruction manual, followed step-by-step the only video I can find on it (which is a facebook video for some reason), and still can't get the thing to connect to the Chase Bliss Pedal.
Anyone have any advice to offer? I'm about to throw the thing through a wall, but maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Re: Disaster Area MIDI and Chase Bliss Help Because I'm Stup
DMC setup:
Dev = DevA (unless you want more than 1 pedal connected)
DevA = CBA
Jack = midi
Jack channel = A00
Save
Now, hold right footswitch until you’re in device A scrolling mode (repeat until you’re at devA scroll). At this point you should see the letter A followed by a number that you can switch up and down with a simple press of the left and right
CBA midi channel setup
Connect dmc and CBA via 1/4”, but don’t power on CBA.
Hold down both footswitches on CBA while plugging in power adapter (to set midi channel)
Press right or left button on dmc (while in devA scrolling mode) to change CBA midi channel to channel 1.
Now you should be able to control it with dmc.micro
Check out the midi manual for chase bliss on their website as well as dmc micro manual on DA website.

Is it the current Gen3 with the screen?
Did you plug the TRS into the CBA and the TS into the DMC or the other way around? (It works woth a normal TRS-TRS too btw)
Maybe do a factory reset if you bought it used.

Yeah, I've done everything suggested from the first reply, and it's still not working. All cables are plugged in correctly. I've done a factory reset a couple times now. Tried connecting to just the Dark World without any other connections. Still nothing. Bought it new directly from Disaster Area.

Only other thing I can think of is checking that you set the dip switches inside it, and the fact that I think presets 1 and 2 will always be the pedal’s 2 presets so you have to start saving new ones with #3.
