70's ET-275 its been refinished in this beautiful blue color but its not a great job (no clear coat or anything either and despite the refinish work being done a while ago it still feels tacky, which also doesn't help the dirt and dust on it)
Now I bought it with the idea that I would put some GFS retrotrons in it and have a nice jangly guitar because it looks like it could be very jangly, however I really found myself liking the humbuckers that are in it for now. The problem is, the neck pickup cuts out when switching sometimes and I've got to bang it to get it to come in, but that has worked so far. That's just some loose wiring, right guys? Nothing too bad for a guitar that could be pushing 40 soon? (The listing called it "early" 70s, the japanese serial numbers are these epis are supposedly pretty random.) Also I wasn't sure what I would think of that bridge and before I got it visions of throwing a bigsby on there ran through my head (with the retrotrons too, that would be cool). Now, it seems solid enough and the saddles are pretty much the same if not slightly better than the ones on my jag. I had something different in mind at first but once I got it in my hands, this thing is a real garage rocker. Those aren't really questions, at all!
I never thought I would be "that guy" but here ya go. The "family portrait" all lined up on the couch. At least the blue family:

And since its fairly new and fairly blue:
