B:Assmaster is a Brassmaster. Best fuzz ever, it won't not cut through a mix. I haven't not gigged with this pedal for a decade.

Depth Charge is a Super-Fuzz type of thing. Thicker yet spittier than the Assmaster. More crunge. I don't know what that means.

I have two each. All four of them fucking rule. Any time of day and for all of said days: dirty blends > clean blends

Maybe you needed something to push it harder to cut through your mix? I think it's best for recording personally or for spots in songs where the bass can actually be heard and not buried by guitars and drums. LOL! So, I definitely feel you there. I find the same issue occurs with most dirt and bass depending on who you are playing with. I can be right up on my amp with my cousins Bad Cat amp and I can't hear shit from mine because his is sooooo raspy and loud.

Damn I was worried there wasn't gonna be an answer to the Depth Charge vs B:Assmaster question. Though I never realized it was a Brassmaster I always thought it was like a modded tonebender. Any other opinions from people who tried both? After all: Paul Barker>>>Trent Reznor

I'm not sure of specific artist outside of Trent because I was looking for something super specific, but I know a lot of bass players have used them. Jeff (Mr. Excane) might know a bunch. Jeff why the fuck haven't you chimed in here? COME ON!

I have no idea what's up with this new venture but I'm intrigued.

I stockpiled PE pedals way back when I fell in love with the Depth Charge. I own 5 of them.

Dan who owned Pedalgeek used to tell me in person all the time what a character Jack was.
He apparently didn't even have email, only a phone number. Dan never knew what pedals he was getting, colors, version, amount, etc.

I talked to Jack on the phone for a total of 3 minutes back in 2006ish- sounded like a batshit crazy mad scientist.

Yeah I’ve seen that. I’ve sent 2 emails within a few days of each other to both email addresses they have on their site.....Haven’t received a response yet.
I didn’t even ask about doing demos....just wanted to know if they’re planning on bringing back tha fuckin DEPTH CHARGE
