Has anyone heard about this? Looks like a few things are available to preorder.

I'm surprised to see Jack doing this again. Our last talk made me think he'd never be back. So, I'm happy to see that. Maybe he sees all those high dollars signs and it either pisses him off or he wants to make a little extra as well.

I always liked Jack (I know some did not), so I'm stoked to see this. I hope he releases some new stuff too!

They look shit? I disagree but I know they don’t have anything fancy to them. The build quality always impressed me. Plus the Depth Charge is the best fuzz for bass I’ve ever had.

Cluttered design, bad knob choices for all but the golden dual pedal, terrible footswitch placement on the ones with 3 switches, different fonts on all of the pedals/no coherence... Just uninspired overall. Shit.

I kind of like some of them, like the knobs on the Rx Overdriver, haven't seen those on other pedals. But yeah too many different fonts and such, I agree. The website is also terrible, text-wise and also some of the full-size pics are very small (and the C.O.B looks B-stock).

But hey, welcome back and all, I hope it goes well. I just hate that so many companies' efforts to re/release stuff feel so rushed and like "give us your money and you'll get some design-subject-to-change pedal of your guesstimated choice with random knobs, whenever". That's a worst case scenario but still, why not just take a little extra time and present the product in a good way.

Uh huh. Well. Some of us don't need pretty flashy stuff to be inspired as musicians. So, I don't have an issue with any of what you said.

These multi-stomp pedals have a small footprint. They could spread the switches out more (bigger box), but I think most people would rather have a small footprint.

I've always wanted an Experience, but they are impossible to find. Even 15 years ago, they almost never showed up on the used market. I had a Clean Octave Blend (COB) that was cool. I've heard the germanium overdrive is pretty nice.

 :erm: Also, keep in mind these graphics and layouts are from the dawn of the boutique era (dating back to around 1994 or so). :idk: :snax:

In addition, this seems like a nostalgia play. These are for people who want the exact same pedals of yesteryear.

I think the Experience was close to $300 new, over 15 years ago. So, taking into account inflation...

The market has changed a lot (a lot more builders for one thing) so it's hard to imagine them blowing up now, but it would be cool to have more Experiences in circulation.

I believe the original price of the Experience was under $150 (again around 1994). Has definitely gone up over the years.

HBE used those knobs for a while. I have a stash of them saved up for an Asteroids themed pedal for UC to hate on

and I agree on the foot switch bit, but the aesthetic seems pretty standard :?: ...same font for everything but the pedal name, then different one for names.
