Interesting insight. I have been speculating about future blowout sales too. FOMO, for sure. Whammy is a classic I have ignored for decades. Contemplated a Ricochet but I have been convinced the treadle action is the right way to go.

Yeah, I would have figured that about the treadle before I got the PS-5 years back. The bend and flutter modes are fucking great, so for under $100, it seemed worth a go on the Ricochet. Still exploring the newness.
If I didn’t have an IPS-33B already, I would have probably gone V. I figured between the Ricochet with better poly tracking and ballistics tricks and the IPS-33B with expression control, MIDI, two voices, and extra effects, I should be good.
But FOMO.
