This thread... Um look I don't know about the effect or well appeal of these switch cozies but I have been using pedals for over 25 years and I've never broken a switch. I think you guys are either doing it wrong or the quality of switches is getting bad..

The quality is great sooooo yea. lol

Here's what is NOT great. The quality of the stomps. I have had a TON of switches arrive to me dead in rehouses or trades. Yea trades too. Fucking assholes. Anyway, it's pretty common with those cheap Chinese pieces of shit everyone buys.

For real though. You'd think someone would do that and change it enough to say suck my dick to patents and blah blah blah. Stomp switches. Pffttt. So archaic.

Its unlikely the issue would be a patent. Its that tooling to gear up for manufacturing an EM part is many tens of thousands of dollars.
