Musicians Friend still has Moogfest editions shipping 7/8. That's what I ordered. I thought this edition was exclusive to GC for some reason but I guess not. They have regular editions shipping 8/4.

Did not realize the sequencer is polyphonic! That's an awesome feature! I love using my Keystep to sequence chords; wasn't really expecting the Matriarch to be able to do that as well

Placed my preorder today. Hopefully it'll be on the July batch but my history with preorders leads me to think it'll be August. Can't wait for that delivery though!

Put money down on a Matriarch from Long and McQuade. This store has a note that they will be receiving some units sometime in July, but they don't know how many or exactly when. However, they said now that someone ordered one, they will send Moog a PO and will be able to request more information/updates.

So damned excited!

Also, I sold my Peak so I have already recovered a good chunk of the money that I'm going to be spending on this

Ha. Grandmother is dope. I played one at Guitar Center and came back the next day to buy it. Sounds awesome.

I may get the Matriarch as well, not sure.

Sweet. Yeah, I was able to get $300 off on this synth. Plus, I cancelled my Headrush Looperboard preorder which was like $765. So, by my calculations, I already paid $1065 into this Matriarch without spending any money. I think that's how math works.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who does gear-related math like this. And yeah, for some reason this makes the Grandmother look much more appealing.

Title of the email: "Your gear is expected to ship soon"

Body of the email: "Thank you again for your recent order. Unfortunately, we are temporarily out of stock on the item(s) you ordered. We expect to ship your order by 10/07/2019. Your order will receive priority, and we will send you a shipping notification when it's on the way."

OCTOBER???? What the hell. I ordered it the day after it was available for purchase...

My guess is there's some kind of production error or delay - because otherwise I'm at a loss as to how October is the expected release - even if it's back-ordered.

Check out the GC listing. The new ship date is 10/7. 3 other dudes on Muffwiggler had the same thing happen to them.

It'd be awesome if this was a clerical mistake though.
