Aren't those only tweaked popular circuits?

That is the reason I've never tried those, graphics are not terrible, not my cup of tea either.
Two that come to mind that are unique in at least concept (i ain't no circuit expert!) is Feed Me and Knob Jawn. But I also haven't tried any Fuzzrocious because of aesthetic reasons. I don't think they are ugly, but just ain't my cup of tea.

I just bought TheMeanReads' Fuzzrocious Knob Jawn in the B/S/T here. It is sweet like candy, bonafide. Sounds great, and has a pretty interesting and unique interface and feature set. The components of the circuit are perhaps derivative of familiar circuits, but the way they've put it all together is pretty tasty. Plus, it's called KNOB JAWN.

Some of you have tried pedals by the brands you've listed in the "brands you haven't tried" thread. Weird.

Anyways, i don't like religion and what it does to people, so, despite not having any ill-feeling towards any individual, I will generally avoid giving pedal people I know are religious my money, just so i'm certain I'm not helping fund someone who has bad/discriminatory feelings/thoughts about certain groups of people. Kinda lame, but there you go. It only really rules out a handful of US companies, so it's all good. More Glou Glou Underwater Sounds for me.

I'm super weird about how I select pedals and I can't even fully explain how my mind works with that shit, but it's odd for sure. Certain brands, I just can't do for some reason. I feel like they just don't grab me. So as a result I don't try any of their stuff.

First one that comes to mind for me is Keeley. He's been around for EVER and I have never tried his pedals. I tried one of his 3 knob comps once, but I don't think that counts. It's a comp. I mean, come on. It's not a fuzz.

The rest-

Pladask (availability)
Very rare, but you just need to keep an eye on the classifieds, I'm sure their pedals pop up for sale now and again.

Are you saying you know for a fact some people here are lying when they say they've never tried a Wampler or Keeley pedal?

I would be in the group that has tried far less brands than I'd like to, but I think it's interesting to see what those that have flipped the most have avoided playing for whatever reason.

But now you're telling me it's all fake?! I can't even trust the main influencers anymore?

It would honestly be much, mush easier for me to list the brands I have tried. So I'm going to do that instead. Although, this list got a lot longer than I was expecting...

I still have pedals by each of these brands:
EarthQuaker - I'm surprised how many of you haven't tried any EQD. Seriously, everyone needs a Dispatch Master. I have yet to find a situation where it doesn't fit in or add something. Also, the Westwood may be a little expensive, but it's probably one of my favourite drives ever.
Dwarfcraft - one of my favourite brands, would buy everything they make if I could
Montreal Assembly
Fairfield
Eventide - only the H9, but that's pretty much all their pedals in one right?
RMA
Boss
TC Electronic - Polytune, Ditto, and Flashback
EHX - Black Finger and Superego
Ernie Ball - VPJR
MXR - 10 band EQ

I have owned pedals by each of the following brands:
SS/BS - tried all of them, sold all of them, miss all of them :(
Dirge - I need more Dirge in my life
Fuzzhugger - I need Fuzzhugger back in my life too
Dr Scientist
Industrialectric
Chase Bliss - amazing pedals, but way more than I need in a pedal
Meris - same as Chase Bliss, I've learned that I like simpler things
Lone Wolf Audio - only one random synth fuzz thing. Don't actually know what it was
Hologram - Infinite Jets
Alexander - F13
Boredbrain - Patchulator
Joe Gagan - Betty
Adventure Audio - Outer Rings
Way Huge - Aqua Puss

There are some brands that I avoid for a reason. For instance, I have no interest in brands like Wampler, JHS, Keeley. Just not my style. I also have no interest in most budget brands. And I haven't tried a lot of brands like OBNE and Walrus because I've already got pedals that cover pretty much everything they make.

Someone said they hadn't tried Hologram because they didn't like how the boxes were laid out and then said when they tried one of their pedals, they didn't like how it sounded. Or something like that. There was someone else too. Weird!

That was moi. Bad phrasing on my end (my lows), but to be technical about it, I actually didn't play through it, but I tweaked the knobs while someone else (Nils? Worra?) played through it, so I guess it depends on your definition of 'tried'. :idk:

I've never tried anything from Matthews Effects, and probably never will, because I hate ambiguous knob labels.

I feel exactly the same way, but initially decided against bringing it up, because I honestly don't know which companies are religious, and it seems like JHS backlash has kept a lot of secret christians from wearing it on their sleeves. Hell, JHS has even tried to put some distance between themselves and the J.C. My pedal tastes unfortunately run a little Jesus-y, so I'm a little worried half my pedalboard supports religion in one way or another. I'm just honestly not sure how to tell. Emailing all my favourite pedal companies to accusingly demand that they reveal their faiths doesn't seem all that practical.

I go to the stompbox exhibit every year in so I had the opportunity to try the caverns and loomer (MBV in a pedal). Never tried a wampler pedal, alexander, or dwarfcraft for no other reason other than I generally don't have the time to go into the city to a music store and try pedals out.

:hello:
for my own post
I mean, some TGP hype pedals seems really awesome. I want to try one of those Analogman Sun Faces, but they are so dang expensive. Same goes for a number of fuzzes that are more popular in those circles, like the Jext Telez Dizzy Tone (which I guess is popular here too)

Other than that, the ones that are relevant that I want to try are:
Fredric Effects - just never pulled the trigger
zvex - other than fuzz factory (so I guess I tried the brand)
Empress stuff, but I am so happy with the eventide space so its hard to justify
Can't really think of any more but I'm sure theres loads
