One of my favorite pedals of all time, this one has the modulation and I love that you can apply modulation and time stretch and reverse to the loop while unlocked and then press the infinite switch again and lock it! Best looper I have ever played by far and I had an original 16 second looper and I find this way more intuitive to use and think it looks and sounds better, very high quality build!
Those look swanky and sound super fun :joy:

Found a little demo video of it. Looks like a ton of fun! It doesn't do time stretch in the traditional (or modern?) sense though, at least not in the demo I saw. It just stretches out/pinches in the buffer, so the pitch also changes. Still very very impressive stuff, especially the real time manipulation you can do with the reverse and short/long toggles. Gets you into that CT5 territory, but with a buffer that's way longer. Nice!

I took the plunge on this last year (despite the lack of demos + such) and I use it a lot, mostly for ambient/drone stuff. (I definitely use it differently than how I've seen folks use EHX 16 Second Delays!).

You can hear it in the background of the first piece here, really kicks in just a bit before the 2 minute mark: https://hearthis.at/mechanical-forest-s ... 018-12-12/ (only time I've had a guitar run through it so far!)

The octave flip on the clock toggle's MOD setting is awesome for a l'il nudge in drone-y stuff.

trio (tapes/voice/clarinet/synth/poems): https://ourwaytofall.bandcamp.com/
band (spontaneous kosmische): https://stargoon.bandcamp.com/

I also learned about that recently, seems like a really cool tool. But yeah, the lack of demos is a bit weird, though their soundcloud clips sound nice.

All the demos are audio clips but with that pedal I feel like it would be extremely beneficial to see someone using one on camera. Otherwise its hard to tell what is happening.

I mean, why not just say 1 minute delay? Is the follow up going to be 120 seconds?

Exactly. You would think there'd be something with a product like this. One of fairly few pedals that have caught my interest lately. Would love to see some sexy video footage.

Jwar: I'd go with 3 3/4 * 16 Second Delay. :D

Always been intrigued by these, never messed with one.

What's wrong with the ehx reissue though? Assuming a local-ish deal for one would cost me less than what the typical inflated reverb prices :idk:

They discontinued those about a decade ago and they sell for $450+ used. The Expedition pedal is right around $300.

That makes sense I guess. Didn't notice that because of the Euro vs USD thing. It's the other way around over here, what with the cost of the shipping+taxes and all. We get the choice between expensive or stupid expensive

I had one of those reissues for a while and if I remember correctly the one thing that made it completely unusable was the pre-record count-in click that could not be turned off.
Apart from that (and I have never played an original one to be sure of these claims) the vibrato is more like a chorus in the reissue. You can't really do the "always recording while bypassed" thing like the original.

As I said on another forum, the Expedition, while super cool, is very lo-fi past a certain point. Even at 16 seconds. Just FYI.
Maybe that's what you might be looking for though.
