Can’t do it. I tried. The vocals are ruining it! Ruining!!

The vocals don't bother me all that much...but I would not mind an instrumental version one bit.

So much, so much..

And yes, an instrumental would be in heavy rotation on my player.

It's crazy how much detail they put into a single song. I can't imagine performing that stuff.

I hear some shoegazey influences here and there, which I like, there's also a blastbeat/deafheavenish small part, which I also like.

BUT

Those. Fucking. Vocals.

:picard:

Please release an instrumental version of the album.
The music is boss but jesus christ those fucking vocals

That sounds just fucking terrible. From the mix to the vocals. It actually wouldn't be that bad if it wasn't such a terrible mix. Terrible! For shame! BOOOO!!!!

It's not the first time that I am disappointed by the mix of a Baroness Album. Even the blue one, which I really like, had some strange choices, mostly regarding snare sounds:I felt that it was too much in the front mix and with an invasive short reverb that almost killed the dynamics.
I have enjoyed some of the weird choices in mixing guitars and general sounds because at least they stand out of the standard, but sometimes they just end up to kill the vibe of the song.
