Bass Doom Bloom

Post by fuzzspiral »

Hi all! This is my first post here, I hope I'm writing in the right section.
Im a bass player and I'm really interested in the Doom Bloom fuzz by Fuzzhuuger FX. Do any of you bass players have direct experience with this pedal? Does it retain low ends?
Thanks!

I have a regular doom bloom and play an 8 string guitar down to E.. it doesn't fart out at all and has pretty good crunch still. Does the bass doom have a clean blend? I know the Algal 2.0 does, which is also a great bass feature.

I have one, and I find it doesn't quite keep enough low end for bass. It's amazing and heavy on downtuned guitar (drop C) but it doesn't really hold up on the lower bass notes - it sounds great on its own but playing with a band it doesn't have enough low end power and disappears. which is a shame because it's a great pedal.

There is a bass bloom in bst currently which has a clean blend.
